The Peculiar Quandary of Simon Canopus Artyle is a novella written by Kevin Frane, published in 2010 by FurPlanet and featuring cover art and interior illustrations by XianJaguar.[1]

Synopsis[edit]

Simon is a fox, a writer, and a historian. He is also a wizard. As far as wizards go, he's got everything he needs: his youth (he's still a young two hundred sixty-three), his quick wit, and even his very own town. He's also got companionship in the form of his insightful assistant and the mayor's lovely daughter.

Unfortunately, Simon's also got a bit of a problem. Two and a half centuries with his muzzle buried in books hasn't taught him anything about matters of a more personal nature. Like relationships. And jealousy.

And when it comes to confused wizards, simple, everyday issues definitely don't come with simple, everyday solutions...
