Plot[edit]
Set in the fantasy universe of Bestira, A Single Quavering Note is a work of anthropomorphic fiction for adult readers.[1] The story concerns Kyo Foxtrot, a very talented vulpine singer performing in taverns across the border city of Pyronni, making money and dreaming only of a comfortable future.
Kyo's dreams appear to come true when he receives an invitation to perform for the entire royal court. At the royal palace other, he encounters Sayii, the count prince of Vasani, and more intimate offers are put forward to him. Ultimately, however, a member of the royal family cannot be expected to ignore his duties to be with another male.
