Rufus "Red" Swampwulf is a furry author who lives in Louisiana, USA.[1]

Rufus is a member of the Furry Writers' Guild.[2] His writings focus on male/male erotica, and are characterized by extremely masculine characters comfortable with their orientation. He has a penchant for devising nicknames for his characters that have a quite complicated origin, often referring to anatomical uniquities.
Red Swampwulf's work Hit the Showers was featured in FANG Volume 1.
Alex Vance credits Red with the concept of the Heat and Rut drugs featured in his Maranatha series.
