Furrydelphia is a furry convention that has been held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, since 2022.

Overview[edit]
Initially held held in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA from 2017 to 2021, Furrydelphia is owned and operated by Furrydelphia, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity.[1]
2017[edit]
The first Furrydelphia was held over August 17-20, 2017,[2] at the DoubleTree hotel in King of Prussia.[2]
The convention theme was Heist of the Century, and the guests of honor were Lady Rain and Space Cat Creations.
Furrydelphia 2017 saw 718 attendees, including 127 fursuiters in the fursuit parade.[3] The convention's charity was the Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue, for which was raised $4,260.[3]

2018[edit]
The second Furrydelphia was held over August 10-12, 2018,[4] at the DoubleTree Valley Forge in King of Prussia.[4]
The convention theme was Rocky's Roastery: The Furry Cafe.[4] and the guest of honor was Hyena Agenda.
Furrydelphia 2018 saw 903 attendees. The convention's charity was the Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue, for which was raised $5,300.

2018 controversy[edit]
Before the convention started, the Furrydelphia staff saw "a staggeringly high number of people speak out[citation needed] against the attendance of certain individuals[who?] who identified with particular hate groups.[who?] For the general safety of all other attendees",[5] with evidence of "violent threatening behavior from a few specific individuals." In the interest of public safety, and to create a "safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment" for other attendees, these individuals[who?] were not permitted to attend the convention.[5]
2019[edit]
The third Furrydelphia was held August 16-18, 2019,[6] at the Valley Forge Casino Resort Radisson Hotel with guests of honor Rukis and Kyell Gold.
The charity was once again the Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue.
Furrydelphia 2019 saw 1332 attendees.[7]
2020[edit]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the in-person venue for Furrydelphia 2020 was postponed, however, an online instance of the convention was formed, dubbed Furrydelphia Virtualcon: Stay-At-Home. Features included chatrooms on Discord and Telegram, a Twitch livestream, and a VRChat world of the convention center in 3D.
2021[edit]
The fourth Furrydelphia was to be held in 2020 but was postponed to August 12-15, 2021 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Furrydelphia 2021 saw 1554 attendees.[8]
2022[edit]
The fifth Furrydelphia was held on August 26-28, 2022 at a new location, Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. The theme was "Galatic Fleet, " originally the 2020 theme before COVID-19. It was attended by 2281 with $9063.29 going to charity. [9]
2023[edit]
The sixth Furrydelphia was held on August 25-27, 2023 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. The theme was Flat Pack City.
It was attended by 2,510 and raised $11,895.10 for its charity, the Bella Reed Pit Bull Rescue.[10]

FD's attendance has increased yearly, however, their second-order growth has been lacking in recent times.
