Zakarah (pronounced Zuh-car-ah, also known as Spy) is a Canadian furry related content creator, located in Ontario, Canada. He is most well known for his VRChat related memes on TikTok.

Fursona

Zakarah’s fursona is, despite often being mistaken for a fox, a folf. His fox side dominates his appearance, especially in his ears and snout, with his wolf side being shown in his fur markings and his floofy tail.

Original Design

Zakarah's original fur design featured predominantly red fur, with white on the lower part of his face, forearms, hands, calves, feet, and inner ears. He had black eyebrows and black splotches on his elbows and knees. Black outlined his ears, and his tail was mostly white, with a large black line on the top running from the base to the tip, which was changed to a red and white curled tail in March 2023.

In a subtle and minor design adjustment occurring between August and September 2023, Zakarah refined his fursona by replacing the black splotches on his knees and elbows with discreet black outlines, seamlessly tracing the contours of the white fur on his legs and arms. This nuanced change subtly enhanced the overall aesthetic of his character.

September 2023 Updates

In September 2023, Zakarah incorporated a new wavy hairstyle, silver aviators, and a new black collar adorned with Canadian maple leaves and a Unity error tag. Notably, he bid farewell to his headphones and Ryzen hat.

December 2023 Overhaul

In a noteworthy design update in December 2023, Zakarah's fursona underwent transformations, including replacing the black elements with dark blue, adjusting fur markings, and introducing a triangular dark blue patch spanning from the top of his head to his lower back, which surrounds a white diamond shape. The red fur became slightly darker, with orange outlining the white fur. Additionally, his cheeks now sport orange fur, and a unique pattern outlines the white fur on his belly, arms, and legs.

Clothing

Originally, Zakarah’s avatar was seen only wearing a pair of sunglasses as clothes were not planned in the original design. From July 2022 onward, however, he consistently showcased his unique style by frequently sporting a distinctive white TikTok sweater, evolving through several tasteful variations.

Originally paired with black sweatpants, this signature sweater later underwent a stylish transformation, harmonizing flawlessly with dark blue jeans. Throughout the years, Zakarah curated his look with an eclectic array of accessories, including a pair of headphones casually draped around his neck, fashionable black sunglasses, a distinguished brown leather collar proudly displaying his name on a silver badge, a pair of sleek black Vans shoes, black fingerless gloves, and a distinctive AMD Ryzen Hat.

In addition to his regular ensemble, Zakarah occasionally surprised his audience with diverse wardrobe choices, such as a blue Apple-branded shirt and even a maid dress, adding a playful touch to his TikTok skits. His ever-evolving fashion sense mirrored the vibrant creativity he brought to his content.

Social Life

In the vast virtual expanse of VRChat, Zakarah's social journey began with an original circle, featuring DanderWoolf, Sparkichu22, and Svendle. These early connections, predating his friendships with Plaidtherad, Jazzper, and Renard, held a special place. Over time, however, the dynamics shifted, and those bonds gradually faded, although Zakarah still shares occasional conversations with Sparkichu, otherwise known as ‘Ren’, who also continues to moderate Zakarah’s Discord server.

Fast-forward to the present, Plaidtherad, Jazzper, and RenardFox now constitute his core VRChat social circle. Their camaraderie blossomed into real-life interactions, exemplified by a memorable meet-up in September 2022, held in a small parking lot in Bracebridge, Ontario. This transition from virtual to tangible spaces marked a significant chapter in Zakarah's journey, creating lasting memories and strengthening their friendships.

Beyond his initial connections, Zakarah embraced new online friends, including Zander Wolf, whom he not only met both through RenardFox and at Furnal Equinox 2023, but got to know better as Zander joined the VRChat adventures. The circle expanded further to include Rawri Wolf, Colbyolby, Shadow Flora, and Nickumtoo, among many others, enriching Zakarah's virtual experiences with diverse connections and shared moments.

In addition to these connections, Zakarah's social landscape expanded to include FlurryFrenzy, a fellow TikTok creator, with whom he's been in contact since October 2023. Their friendship is evolving, and they plan to meet at Furnal Equinox 2024. Furthermore, Zakarah established a meaningful connection with Julia Winterpaw, a well-known VRChat avatar creator. Their friendship blossomed after initially meeting at Zakarah's second Winterpaw meetup in September 2022. Collaborating on TikToks and hosting events together, including a meetup on New Year’s Eve 2023-2024 on Julia's behalf, deepened their bond.

However, in the vast tapestry of Zakarah's VRChat adventures, there's an interesting twist—Nate Malamute, Zakarah's arch-nemesis. Known for their heated arguments about seemingly trivial matters, Nate and Zakarah engage in banter that adds a touch of friendly rivalry to Zakarah's virtual social dynamics. Despite their disagreements, these interactions contribute to the colorful tapestry of Zakarah's VRChat experiences.

TikTok

Zakarah began his TikTok journey in July 2022. Achieving a milestone, Zakarah reached 10k followers on TikTok in December 2023.
