I disagree. When I wanted to update CanFURence, the Furry Book of Style was the first place I looked, so even though it's not a description of how an article should look like, I think it should at least be linked there. (If it makes you feel better, think of it as a manual of style.) A related, but different issue, is that we do also need style guide for convention articles. --Kakurady (talk) 14:47, 20 November 2016 (EST)

Checklist reorganization proposal[edit]

Hello! I'm having a bit of trouble following this checklist... so I tried to make it easier to use, by making every item (mostly) a single action, and listing examples instead of requiring editors to infer style by reading (a lot of) existing articles. Hopefully this would help reduce the cognitive load of editors, who are likely tired from partying hard. Haven't seen any disagreement yet... I'm going ahead and updating the page. Ideally you should be able to fill in what convention you're working with, and it will automatically replace the placeholders in the checklist with the convention you're working with... That might be a bit too much for now.
This is still very much a work in progress, with lots of details incomplete. Some of that is marked in italics, mostly templates for newly-created pages that can be {{subst:}} or preloaded into the edit form.
