Added a picture, but I confess I'm a little vague as to what might constitute "furry-specific" in this context. Mowgli lives with lots of talking furry animals, but doesn't actually have fur of his own, though I'm sure he wishes he did. Lee M 14:16, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)

I guess I was thinking more "in what way is this relevant to the furry fandom?" - who or what in particular has been inspired by, based on, or is related to Mowlgi, if anything? Why is it important? For example The Lion King has had a lot of fan-related activity, like The Lion King Fan-Art Archive and The Lion King MUCK - if there was a MowlgiMUCK I would expect to see it mentioned, for example.
