I'm aware that Duncan has blocked this user, however please be aware I will be contacting AC staff to get official comment on this matter. This should hopefully be resolved by the end of the day. --Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 13:16, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The information I put in the article on Mix was taken from this statement by Giza. Giza is the Operations Director for Anthrocon.--Duncan da Husky 13:19, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Very well, I'm going to reassemble your entry but also add his side since he seems so adamant. Hopefully give this a two sided story. I will then unblock Mix to allow him to respond, if he blanks again then well, that's deletion of unbiased established fact so.. --Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 13:25, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Fair enough.--Duncan da Husky 13:29, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Ok, page is done. Facts and opinon clearly apart. Will be unblocking to allow him to comment. To Mix, if you delete this entry entirly you will be reblocked. If you are still unhappy about the content, please comment on the article's talk page. --Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 13:42, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Talk log from 67.176.137.5

Hey there and welcome to WikiFur. If I'm to understand this correctly, you are Mix and have issue with the claims of certain events at Anthrocon 2005 and claim they did not occure, along with the fact you only like SA and not an active member. At WikiFur we do not actively seek out to hurt anyone or write slander because we are trying to tell the unbiased truth on all subjects.

I therefor ask rather than us just deleting that information, can you tell us anything about the apparent events as while I was neither at anthrocon or have any major knowledge events, I was told by others who went of someone unspecific wondering around in an SA shirt doing the things that the article claimed you did. Likewise rumor would quickly circulate and someone at some point would try to edit their version of the story back in to the article. We would far prefer that the article said the exact fact from the person who it is about.

Therefor I ask, in your first edit summary on the article you said you were roleplaying and having a bit of fun, would you mind explaining here, or editing in to the article yourself if you wish, exactly what you were doing and why so it can be placed in your article as the exact truth. I know it kinda sounds like I'm asking to you to prove your innocence and I apologise, but I think its better than any rumors going around and the article being untrue.

I will revert the section in your own article back for now but will mark the section clearly as disputed so it can be edited by yourself. I do apologise on behalf of WikiFur for any unintendend offense and hope we can resolve your issues quickly and to your satisfaction. --Nidonocu - talk Nidonocu 13:13, 20 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I want that damn thing gone. I'm not really in the mood to discuss this, sorry. I shouldn't of even went to AC anyways.

I didn't do anything at AC, just draw, film a bit (about 2 minutes, that's all the film I had, so I took pictures instead with the 8mm camera to develope later) but it was for my own personal art project, I didn't intend to harm anyone, nor post this on the web.

Some furs were being a bit too 'paranoid' and being an ass cuz I wore a shirt of a website I liked at the time. I am not a furry, sorry, I just enjoy the art and hanging out with my friends and making new ones. I enjoy the charity work too.

But I guess everyone started some bullshit rumour that has gone WAY too far. It's come to the point where I can be banned from the local furry hangouts. -.-...

Even worse, my roomate might kick me out, because he's a furry as well, and visits wikifur alot. He told me that I was on here, so I checked it out.

So please, for alls sake, please please take this off. It is not needed. I am not a goon. I don't even like the site anymore because of what has happened in me losing almost all my old friends because they think I'm out to get them...

  • cries* please...

If you want, my friends, who are furry as well, can vouche for me not beng a goon and trying to hurt other peole's feelings. Just recently, I was accused of almost getting all the furries of my local furry meetup group banned from a bowling alley. Though I didn't do anything, alot group members still put all the blame on me.

Just because I like some website makes me a bad person?

So what if I'm friends with Verix as well, he's a really cool friend. Fredryk was one of my first 'popular' friends. I don't know him too well, but he enjoys hanging with me.

But seriously, that post is ruining my life and driving away old and new friends... I'm so sorry for even bringing that shirt to AC. People are taking this way too seriously and are spreading false rumours because of it, sometimes taking me as a scapegoat because they dislike me becuase of that event.

Please consider my dignity, I'm so sorry...

A questiion for Mix: What do you consider a "goon"? I think different people here are using the term to mean different things, and therein lies much of the controversy. --mwalimu 13:23, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I think of them as I've thought odf them as a little kid, and from various animes: as someone very muscular, but of no intelligence, or someone who intentionally causes harm to someone.

I really don't know what Dmuth means about how I'm 'a problem child to multiple conentions', I've always tried to be a supersponsor at each convention and volunteer my time to help out. I'm not a furry, but I love hanging out with my friends... 99% of which are. It's just the whole fact that people are bitching over me wearing a T-shirt to a convention really sucks for my friends because some read about me on this site, then start rumours that drive away my friends and ruin my reputation. Seriously, I've been threated to be banned by the LAFF if they find me posting stuff about them on SA.com. Really now, if I hated furries, I wouldn't of gone to a furry con. I prolly would've worn a shirt making fun of furries, but I didn't cuz I like them.

I never figured you furries hated SA so much at the time anyways, I thought it was like a running gag as to how Ash hates Team Rocket, different veiws but still get along as friends at times. I guessed wrong. I even stopped going back to the website, trying to prove to my friends and fury community that I wasn't a part of it.

But don't you get it? I just don't want to be acknowledged for this. I don't want to be mentioned on this site. I don't want that AC thing to be mentioned too. They can't even let me write it how I want it to be, besides me just wanting to delete it.

Really, are people going to gripe about how some kid one day wore a SA shirt to a convention, and say that it's part of furry history that NEEDS to be documented? You guys gunna write about what kind of underwear I wore that day as well? Or address the fact that I wasn't wearing a tail? Is this relevant to your culture? Because this is really hurting my relationship with other furs... but hey, people are saying that I deserve this 'punishment' because I wore a t-shirt. (The cops never griped about me wearing a 'I love pot' shirt to their conventions.)::

Thylacine

I deleted the article as it was copyrighted text. As Wikipedia has a fine page on Thylacines, I've linked to that instead, which should be fine for describing the species. You are welcome to put yourself in Category:Thylacine characters, though. Not sure there are many more out there, but it's possible. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 02:08, 29 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Please guys, just let it be, he didn't mean anything by it and it was not to be what it seemed. Haven't you ever laughed at yourself before? I was at AC 2005 and I do have to tell you i did not feel offended by Mix at all; it was just prue fun really. It's bascially like, get a grip--I would have to say that he has been a good friend to me--I hold nothing aginst him.

Your changes to the Something Awful talk page

Please do not remove comments from the talk page for Something Awful. If you want to dispute what's posted there, that is perfectly acceptable and you can post your comments in the thread. Removing other peoples' comments, on the other hand, amounts to stifling discussion and is frowned upon very strongly in Wikis. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks. --Dmuth 19:03, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

Let me make this more clear: do not edit other people's words or links, or anything else, on article talk pages. If they offend you, that's just too bad. Striking out against it just makes you look foolish and invites more of the same. Please, get a thicker skin, and if you feel you must respond to such allegations, learn to do so without resorting to vandalism. --GreenReaper(talk) 03:36, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Upcoming events

I think that the Upcoming events list should only link to internal links, to avoid turning it into a link farm. I'm not making a change right now, but if you want you can view the discussion in Template_talk:Upcoming_events --Rat 10:39, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Attempts to evade the previous block

It would seem that after receiving a 24 hour block, there were more attempts to make those changes to the Banrai article:

http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Banrai&diff=135478&oldid=135474 http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Banrai&diff=next&oldid=135479

Seeing that both IPs were in Illinois, and that no one else has been particularly interested in the article, I think you were the culprit.

These edits tell me that, upon not getting your way, you seem more interested in causing trouble than resolving the situation.

As you may note by the extended length of the block, if you were attempting to shorten the length of time of your block, your actions have had the opposite effect. --Douglas Muth 04:31, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
