If the work pictured is a three-dimensional creative work (for example, a sculpture, costume or plush toy), the copyright(s) of the creator(s) of the three-dimensional work may still apply. You can use the {{Photo3D}} template on those to indicate this.

If you would like to use a work outside of those licenses, contact me. Since the creator of a work still holds copyright over a work, the creator can grant you additional rights to the image, including the right to use it outside the GFDL or CC-BY-SA. If you want it for a commercial purpose outside of those two licenses, a fee may be requested for use. But as long as either CC-BY-SA or GFDL is followed there will be no fee for use within those licenses, even if used for commercial purposes.

If you or your art is in any picture in my gallery and you don't want it up, contact me privately, specifically identifying which one and I'll probably remove it immediately.

If you want to use a picture that is in this gallery but has not been released:

  • If it's because I'm not the photographer or artist, I can put you in touch with the photographer or artist, or contact them for you.
  • If it's because the photo contains a prominent person I can put you in touch with the subject to ask for permission, or contact them for you.
    • If the person isn't all that prominent, I could reconsider.
    • If you want to crop the person out or blur their face, I could release that version under GFDL and CC-BY-SA for you.
    • If the person is part of an event, and the pictured event is being documented in the article, you may use the photograph to document the event, and I license it under GFDL and CC-BY-SA but personality rights may still apply and cannot be waived by the I, the photographer. You must add the {{PersonalityRights}} to the photograph.
    • If the person is a public figure by Wikipedia standards (multiple independent articles in the mainstream media about them specifically), you may use the photograph, and I license it under GFDL and CC-BY-SA but personality rights may still apply and cannot be waived by the I, the photographer. You must add the {{PersonalityRights}} to the photograph.

Note: when I say prominent, I'm referring to how recognizable they are in the image, not their popularity or anything like that.
