Biography[edit]
Griphass was born on April 20th 1991 and lives in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
His pseudonym is a combination of two words in Sindarin, Grepha and Ash, meaning "Steel Clamp". [Fursuiter]], writer, designer, amateur photographer, and gamer he is passionate about music and videos and touches all.
The period where he considers himself as a furry is in October 1997 following the visit of the Disney-Land Paris park for the 5 years of this one. After having seen the mascots and discussed with the performer who embodied Dingo, he was directly interested by the principle of anthropomorphic animals. With the arrival of the internet, and the fact of being able to do research, little by little he discovered other furies and communities. He considers himself a member of the fandom community. French fandom from 2008. Around 2010 Feeling lonely in the French speaking part of Switzerland, he started to look for and gather the furies living in the area and gather them in one community. With the help of Flippy Le Lion, the Suisse Romand fandom began to form. After a break from the fandom in general, he came back and stayed in the fandom Suisse Romand where he took the initiative to propel it and boost its visibility to bring together all the furies scattered across the country. Today, administrators and moderators keep the FFSR (Fandom Furry Suisse Romand) community alive and ensure its quality. With success because the members increase day by day.

Since a long time he likes anthropomorphic characters but after some internet research and word of mouth he really learns the meaning of the word furry only from February 1998 (at the age of 7) and starts to draw anthropomorphic characters little by little.
He also loves everything related to computers and multimedia. PC and web in general, technology and innovation, but also history, general culture and a lot of other things. He has a passion for webmastering as well as photo/image editing and various web content creation.
The character[edit]
Griphass is a black, white and gray griffin with neon turquoise skin parts. It is made of hair and micro feathers from head to toe as well as the wings which are made of black and white feathers.
Griphass' fursona is set in 2099 in a semi-apocalyptic world where he is a mercenary in a large-scale European conflict. He lives from day to day, constantly moving around. en:Griphass
History[edit]
October 23, 1997: Following a visit to the Disneyland park in Paris and the meeting of the Dingo performer, took a passion for these anthropomorphic animals.
February 15, 1998: After some research on the internet as well as word-of-mouth, gets acquainted with the anthropomorphic and furry universe, and officializes his entry in the Furry universe.
March 02, 2007: Start creating videos on the Youtube and Dailymotion platforms.
January 29, 2009: Starts posting his works on the Deviantart site.
March 28, 2009: Starts posting his works and those he commissions as well as those he is offered on the Furrafinity website.
October 23, 2009: Join the French furry fandom community by registering on the FranceFurs.org forum and by participating in the various furmeets organized in France.
December 16, 2009: After several character trials, including a rabbit, a dragon, a lizard and an eagle, he finally opted for the griffin as his fursona.
February 17, 2010: Modestly tries to unite all furry people in French-speaking Switzerland under the same community.
August 10, 2011: Receives the fursuit of his griffin created by Sparky Can Do.
October 11, 2011: Design and create the flag of the Swiss fandom which is simply formed of the Swiss flag with a paw mark in its center.
December 18, 2011: Created his second fursona, Griphiuss Seregtaur. Based on a race he invented, namely the Serpigrins, which are a race of scalies.
March 2012: Created RomandFurs, the forum of the French-speaking Swiss furrys. It aims to bring together all the furries of French-speaking Switzerland to gather and organize events and furmeet.
21 May 2013: Create Furry Unit. A French-speaking Furry Gaming community for all computer, game and multimedia enthusiasts etc...
November 2013: Put an end to the project RomandFurs not being able to take care of it alone and being in lack of funds and motivation of the members.
September 20, 2016: Creation of Melohim Heartile, his third fursona which is a Swiss white shepherd.
December 17, 2016: Foundation of the event XmasFurs which takes place at the Christmas market of Montreux in the canton of Vaud and which aims at gathering and celebrating Christmas with all invited members.
July 2017: Join the association Furomandie as an active and founding member of the convention RomanyCon
October 2017: Signature of the contract formalizing the creation of RomanyCon within the association Furomandie.
March 2018: Dissolution of the association Furomandie as well as of RomanyCon due to internal problems which forced the association to close.
July 2018: Decides to reorganize the FFSR "Fandom Furry Suisse Romand" starting with the Telegram group founded by Niki The cat which gathers all the furries. Sets up a rulebook, a visual redesign, opens the Facebook and Telegram to the public and appoints more administrators and moderators.
March 20, 2022: Creation of the association HelvétiFur created and chaired by Raug Dae. Griphass is assistant to the committee (artistic direction, organization, communication)
March 21, 2022: Creation of Mon'Rugio Smeraldo, his OC (other character) who is part of the lore of his fursona Griphass.
June 5, 2022: Griphass undertakes a graphic redesign of its fursona. Update designed by Loulil.
