Twitch, full Twitch.tv, founded in June 6, 2011, is an American video live streaming service that focuses on video game, in addition to offering music broadcasts, creative content, and "in real life" streams. It is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.

Twitch and furry[edit]

Twitch has an extensive furry user base consisting of Let's Players, VTubers, artists and other creatives. Twitch added a "Furry" stream tag to the platform during an overhaul of the tagging system on May 26, 2021, which also added new tags for VTubers and the LGBTQ+ community.[1]

Individual Twitch streamers are able to band together into multi-channel networks named Twitch Teams. Examples of furry-oriented Twitch Teams include Wild Abandon and Miscreants.

A number of online furry conventions have taken place partially or wholly via Twitch. The Funday PawPet Show started broadcasting on Twitch in 2019.
