The Valley of the Otter

The Valley of the Otter is a novel by Philip Wayre, illustrated by John Edwards. It was first published in 1979, and was reprinted in 1987 by The Otter Trust. As described in the book itself, The Valley of the Otter is about Lutra, "a female otter, from her mating with the dog otter, through the birth and rearing of her two cubs, to the next mating and a new birth."
