The Ring of Fire is a roleplaying forum set in a secluded wilderness. Roleplayed characters are feral dogs (purebred, cross-bred, or mixed) and Wolves. As well as loners, there are a number of dog packs: Noblefang, Sundancer, Tidebreaker, and Windchaser.

Plot[edit]
Three years before, "several animal rights activists started a fire at a prestigious dog show." Several show "escaped to these lands, where they formed into packs and began claiming territories. ... It was within the second year that the second generation of domesticated, wild dogs was produced. Each year following, the packs grow stronger and more for fit for life in the wilderness. ... Marking the third year, a few surviving members of a pack of wolves escaped their lands from the clutches of their rivals."[1]
