The Littlest Hobo is a Canadian live-action television series starring a stray non morphic German Shepherd dog that wanders from town to town helping people in need. At the end of each episode, despite the attempts of many people to adopt him, the dog would head off again by himself. The series was based on a 1958 American film directed by Charles R. Rondeau.

The Littlest Hobo was first aired in 1963 and ended in 1965, it was revived for a second run from 1979 and lasted until 1985. It was during its second run that its ending theme song Maybe Tomorrow was popularised.
