Is there a way of merging the function at Template:Featured article with this template? -- Sine 14:17, 3 May 2013 (EDT)

I'm not aware of a way to have a template that acts on two pages at once. Wikipedia does not appear to have found a better solution (though their equivalent of this is part of a more general history of article status template). --GreenReaper(talk) 14:26, 3 May 2013 (EDT)

Including date[edit]

I'm hoping there is some way (preferably automated) of adding the date as to when the article was marked featured. Perhaps "featured article in Month Year"? -- Sine 17:41, 12 July 2013 (EDT)

We could certainly add that information as variables to be handed to the template for display; I don't know of a way to do it based on, say, the time the template was added because I don't think it has that information recorded (at least, not in a way that could be retrieved by the template). --GreenReaper(talk) 18:33, 12 July 2013 (EDT)
I'm quite happy to put the dates in manually once there's a method set up. If we could do something similar with Template:FAC also... -- Sine 19:56, 12 July 2013 (EDT)
