Before too much gets deleted from this article, here are some references indicating that news of his supposed death was circulating in October 2010:
- "R.I.P Yena Dingo...."
- "In memoriam Yena Dingo" and "R.I.P Yena Dingo" and "R.I.P. Yena Dingo 2.16.91 - 10.17.10"
- Later comment that he wasn't dead: "The reason? Yena says because "I wanted to see who my real friends were." Pfft. Good luck with that now."
