We should probably follow some kind of standard for the individual character pages, with the last two sections optional. Perhaps something like this:

Also, unfortunately it appears I no longer have any of my logfiles from the MUSH (must have been lost in a drive failure), so hopefully some kind soul who played on the MUSH saved descriptions and +finger information of characters in their logfiles.

Very thorough. I certainly agree that much of this is valuable if available, but I'm not so sure about the rather imposing format. :) Because many of the characters have other lives, we cannot impose a "Wild Spirits" format on any article about them. --Altivo 12:33, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

I've made several revisions to several characters's listings. Notably, Heart Seer's herd (I don't recall if it had a name, might be appropriate to call it the Shadow Lands herd at the time) co-resided with the mare herd which was named Wild Sisters, but the two herds stayed in seperate areas of the Shadowlands (and Heart Seer intruding on the mare herd's portion resulted in scathing complaints from Ironhoof, though she did not lead the Wild Sisters herd at the time). Angstily, Tempest left the Wild Sisters herd (where she was lead until that point) to join Heart Seer's herd.

HawkWings was Tornado's lead mare, and Jewel took over when HawkWings left abruptly to join the Wild Sisters herd. HawkWings' departure was why Tornado banded together with IceHeart and Domino to punish Ironhoof for 'stealing' his lead mare on The Night That Never Happened.

Also, Tehawa was in the Wild Sisters herd. I do not know what became of her character afterward.

I've modified several characters' listings accordingly to place them in the Wild Sisters herd.

Ocelots?

Ocelots are a South American/Amazon species...can we verify they were on a North American MUCK? Especially since the area seemed to be in the western plains and similar surroundings...an ocelot would have a lot of traveling to do, not to mention being out of their element there. o.O Spaz Kitty
Yup, they were indeed there. The list of possible species was controlled by the MUSH admin, and ocelot was on the list. Two subspecies are known in North America: L. p. albescens, found in Texas and Mexico; and L. p. sonoriensis, found in the Sonora Desert of Arizona and Mexico. The territory assigned as home to the ocelot characters did in fact resemble Arizona or Utah desert. Altivo

Controversy?

I've heard from a couple of fellow RPers that there's a very negative association with Puma, the headwizard - but I don't know any details. Can anyone scrounge up LJ posts or anything to add such a note to the article? 24.99.238.8 21:53, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

There are all sorts of materials from both sides on that. In the end, it comes down to a battle of personalities and styles that got way out of hand. In presenting this article, I tried to minimize that because I'm not about to take a side with either faction, nor do I want the presentation of the MUSH history itself, that which was played out, to be distorted by the behind the scenes squabbles of which there were far too many. --Altivo 00:22, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
