You know, I honestly have no idea what else to put on a person page, though I welcome suggestions. Also is the section layout sane? --WhiteFire 21:11, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, the objective is the same as that of a regular biographical encyclopedia entry. Most importantly, it should provide a summary of who you are and what you've done - enough that a reader should understand why you would be qualified to chair a panel on furry MUCKs, or to comment on the ideals of Furry Peace. As such, it looks reasonably complete to me, though I de-capped the section headers in accordance with house style, and added a few links and categories. Perhaps a picture?
There are over 2,000 other articles about people, and you could probably find a few ideas in there, or on the few articles about people that have been featured. Many who have been very active in the fandom still have fairly short entries, though. After all, it doesn't matter how long your page is, it's how many people edited it before you did. ;-) --GreenReaper(talk) 23:24, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
I suppose that being the case I ought to add a bit about working on the Muck software, I was active early on in FB and pre-FB Muck development. *shrug* Pictures? You can have one of the character, good luck getting one of me! :P Wait, I probably should not say that, that's just encouraging someone to dredge one up or something. As to how long it is, I just feel like if someone is going to bother keeping this sort of information public ally available on me, I might as well keep it complete. I was surprised when someone pointed out the page existed in the first place.
Speaking of style, do you only usually link the first occurrence of a word, or the first occurrence of it within a section, or...? Guess I ought to go read your house styles. I have to come up with the same sort of thing for the Tapestries MUCK Wiki anyway. Damn Wikis can eat a lot of your time once you get started. :P --WhiteFire 00:01, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
You forget - I was at the FC 2007 board meeting gathering material for my Wikinews report, so I already have a few pictures, if necessary. :-)
We normally only link the first occurrence, unless we're talking about huge ten-page articles where it would be hard for the user to find the original link. And yes, wikis can take a lot of time, but then few worthwhile endeavors are completed in a day. We cover people in detail because the story of the furry fandom is not complete without a knowledge of those who made it happen. The fandom is big enough now that nobody can hope to know everyone in it personally, at which point a biographical reference becomes highly useful. --GreenReaper(talk) 00:17, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Doh, I had forgotten that point. You know, I think you are the first press of any sort to attend a AA&E board meeting. Either they have been refused access to the convention entirely, or such things have not interested them. --WhiteFire 04:33, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Hah! I got much the same response from the MFF board - although after their problems a few years back, it was more like "you're the only press we're actually happy to see here". I guess most don't bother to look much beyond the fursuits, which is something I'd like to change - and I think something Anthrocon is actively working on, though it's a little too soon to judge how that's going to work out. One thing's for sure - the next few years should be interesting times. --GreenReaper(talk) 05:37, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
