Author's Notes

This article was written for the reason that the game involves furry characters. The Author notes that more than half the RPG's players are themselves furries, and the StarFox series itself is an active part of the furry fandom and the reason some furries became furries. This is by no means the major source of furries, in fact it may be considered a moderate or minor part of the fandom. There are bigger topics in the furry fandom that draw new furries than the StarFox series. --Markus

The Other Starfox RPG

Fascinatingly enough, I was one of the creators of a d20 System tabletop Starfox RP. Why? Because I got into a messy argument with IceFox over rules systems and the use of Arwings by players. This also isn't really an advertisement board. I wouldn't call linking to your own game's page strictly an advertisement, but many would. So if you think it needs to be mentioned, you could always add it as its own article page. --Markus 16:11, 26 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Why not just create a seperate page that describes your tabletop system in an NPOV way? It'd be one more page that we could have on this Wiki. :-) --Dmuth 17:11, 26 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I noticed that the web page for d20 Lylat was linked in the article recently. No harm in that. However, after noticing the links in the page, I went through and cleaned that section up a little, plus created a page for the game to which the web link was moved. In its place in the LylatRPG article is a link to the game's wikifur page. This way, people can still read about the game itself in some detail before looking at the linked web page. --Markus 04:07, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Article Removal

Hi. One of the game administrators here. I removed a large chunk of text from the controversy section because it was wildly inaccurate, and it’s been brought to my attention that certain individuals have recently been using the Wikifur page to make attacks on one another. LylatRPG staff requests that this article be removed. Hi there! I'm afraid we do not remove articles on separate entities such as games in the way that you describe. You are however welcome to edit the article. Be aware that other editors may disagree with your edits - if so, I suggest discussing the specific concerns you have about its accuracy here, which will allow us to request similarly specific references for assertions made, and to remove those which are not subsequently referenced. --GreenReaper^(talk) 05:10, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and rewritten the article as appropriate - and without any bias. I have issues with the fact that well over a dozen paragraphs of history were removed in the edits made on 4 December 2006. To me, it seems like this was one step short of page blanking, since a large portion of the article was blanked. --Douglas Muth 14:31, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

The original draft of the article was incorrect. The dozen plus paragraphs that were removed belong under SFRPG rather than LylatRPG.
