LAFF is a featured article, which means it has been identified as one of the best articles produced by the WikiFur community. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

This featuring is intended to include the group of articles on the topic (LAFF Bowling, SliderCon and LAFF New Years Eve) which would not individually be featured due to their limited scope and size. --GreenReaper(talk) 12:54, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

In regards to the Second Life group[edit]

Do not alter the names of the staff in any way, 71.57.92.68. Neither Sema JayHawk or Doc have been active SL LAFF members, but Ken Redtail actively moderates the group with junior staff members and organizes several functions and meets online. Leave him recognized. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .

You do not have moderatorship of the community, your moderationship has been revoked. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.92.68 (talkcontribs) .

Any reason other than personal vendetta? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
Popular demand? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.92.68 (talkcontribs) .
I don't recall there being a vote. And a vote by one is hardly popular demand. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
I will presume you intend to reinstate a new mod, one who is actually active and experienced in running an online group on Second Life? I nominate Steel then. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
Steel is going to be a mod, I told him he could be. Blazger too. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.92.68 (talkcontribs) .
That's all I needed to know. I'm sure the group will be in good hands with those two. I'll let the junior staff know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
And for your information, it was discussed and done infront of a large group of the members at a RL party. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.92.68 (talkcontribs) .
Gosh, a whole large party, eh? Who are these people? Everyone you name drop but a select few have no recollection of ever hanging out with you. People are genuinely uncomfortable with the way you blow them off constantly and act as a fair-weather friend to most of the group. I see this large party being 6 or 7 people tops, as Doc would phrase it, "your posse." If you seriously had genuine issue with my involvement in the group, you know you could have always come to me instead of campaigning behind my back. At least when people like Blazger have a problem with me, they go ahead and share it with me... That's why I respect Blaze. And I think he's a fine young man to organize and run some online events. Steel, as well. But do not go on your personal vendetta. Not on Second Life and not here. Good night. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
I don't name drop, unlike you. And I'd think twice about who you are trusting ^_^ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.92.68 (talkcontribs) .
Yeah, you do. And honestly? So should you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KendricksRedtail (talkcontribs) .
As I recall I didn't discuss anything wit you Ken. I discussed it wit Rayven herself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blazger (talkcontribs) .
At this point, gentle folk, I will remind both of you that WikiFur is not a battleground. If you feel like continuing your discussion, please do so off the wiki. Thanks! Carl Fox 06:08, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

LAFFurs[edit]

Sorry, duncan, it's a relatively fresh term coined within the last year. I believe. I see it now and then and in conversation, I've started to use the term, I even created a category for us under the name. I don't believe it's a mainstream term yet, that's all. What do you tend to call people of our locale?--Kendricks Redtail 20:36, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Ummm, "LAFF members"? :-) ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 20:55, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Touche, my good husky. Thou woundeth me with thy sharp wit. Well, why not try LAFFur. It's kinda catchy. ;)--Kendricks Redtail 20:58, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
I'll pass, thanks (sorry, not one for furry neologisms). But do remember that the purpose of WikiFur is to document what exists, not to propagate new terms or ideas - that smacks of advocacy, which is not really what we're about. ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 21:14, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

LAFF interwiki[edit]

The laff: interwiki links are wrong. They point to http://laff.tixen.net/index.php/xxx and it should be http://lafflist.org/wiki/xxxxxx e.g. http://lafflist.org/wiki/Main_Page. --Timoran 21:49, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
