I would like to feature this article for next week. Are there any public-domain or GFDL images of kitsune, or ones people are willing to contribute? I'm aware of the one on Wikipedia, but I think it kinda sucks . . . ideally, ours would be more furry, for a start. ;-) --GreenReaper(talk) 07:05, 6 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I think one problem with this article on the whole is that there's no single 'accepted' basis for kitsune when it comes to the furry fandom. Mostly, people seem to derive their own ideas from the plethora of information (and more frequently, misinformation) to be found on the Internet, incorporate what they like, how they like, resulting in a mishmash that doesn't really 'resemble' anything that's adherent to the source material.

Naturally, I can see where and why there should definitely be an article on 'Kitsune' here at WikiFur, but with so much varience in how folks handle things like, say, kitsune characters or a kitsune fursona, it's not something that can pinned down to something as simple as, "This is how furries do it." That's OK - there's plenty of room to say "this is how some furries do it, and others do it like this". A definitive article does not have to give a definitive answer on matters that are not clear. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 04:03, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Hey all - I added a lot of info and changed some of the layout a bit, however I fear that it may be even more confusing than before now. I didn't take anything away, only added some things about the different sorts of Kitsune and such. If anyone finds things in there need changing just hit me up and we can talk further!
