Convention/Furmeet section (query to Colleagues/Curators)[edit]
To Colleagues/Curators only. Even trimming and simplifying the Convention/Furmeet section, it's kind of a... mess(?). Suggestions?. Now, non-furry cons: With the exception of major non-furry cons with furry tracks (Anime Expo, Dragoncon, Wonderco, San Diego Comic Con, Bronicon), do we list medium/minor cons? (i.e. the anime ones on the list). Thoughts on this one too?. I haven't tackle an article formatted as such yet. Danke in advance - Spirou 16:43, 10 July 2013 (EDT)
- Conciseness is a benefit; but if it takes a few extra lines to give a comprehensive picture of the subject, or to be more readable, that's OK. After all, we're not paper, and non-furry events are clearly an important part of the subject's life. Perhaps use bold and italics to indicate staff or volunteer status? The clearest depiction might be a timeline, but that would probably be overkill. I suggest linking every convention even if it duplicates links in the body, so they have equal prominence - right now, the bold text there stands out inappropriately. (Also, we shouldn't limit discussions about such matters to curators. Everyone can have an opinion about the best presentation of a page, just as everyone may edit it.) --GreenReaper(talk) 17:36, 10 July 2013 (EDT)
