If this is directly quoted from an e-mail (which I assume from the use of first person), I think it would be more appropriate (for the recipient or sender) to place a copy of the e-mail online somewhere, and use that external link as a reference for an article here on WikiFur. -- Sine 16:36, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

It was a private email I received from Jim last night after a new fan in the LAFF-area starting browsing the LAFF home page and saw the blank article. That prompted me to jump on FM and ask the good ol' Rabbi to send me a history of the event. I don't have any place in mind I could upload this email too, not do I want to post the entire email (there are a few other items in the email that don't think need to be made public) but if one of your admin's want a copy to verify the integrity of what's posted, misspellings and all, I'll gladly forward it over as long as you don't go around posting the entire email publicly. --AshMCairo 18:11, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Ash, do you have an LJ? I think posting an excerpt of the email there (removing the other parts that shouldn't be made public) would be sufficient for us to cite as a reference. --Douglas Muth 13:41, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
I do have a LiveJournal, but I'm been recently locking most of my posts to only friends and my fiancee... but I think I can work around this and make a public post with comments screened. Hold on... http://ashmcairo.livejournal.com/598031.html. Have fun. I can help on some very small details as I've attended 2 ~ 3 of these events, but if you have more questions you're best bet is to hound Rabbi_Tom on FurryMUCK or other people who where in attendence such as his wife, Brad/Kitfox (the MFF Art Show guy), Pook, or... crap, I forgot that guy's name down in Chicago. --AshMCairo 14:26, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
