11/01/05: I can't seem to connect to Furcadia; Their site appears to be down. Does anyone know what's wrong? I certainly hope they've not been vandalised. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 134.39.203.88 (talkcontribs) 23:13, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

Site seems to be up here . . . --GreenReaper(talk) 05:21, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Pending Improvements[edit]

The following improvements should be added to this article:

  • DONE - Mention of the new Dragon Scales in-game currency, and restructure the section that talks about for-pay items.
  • Discussion of the upcoming Adult Verification changes (See Forum Posts)

Jan/Feb 2008 Cleanup[edit]

I've made a set of major edits to clean up most of this article, and to bring it up to date with the Fox update. These edits are now complete. -Tafyrn(talk) 06:22, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

May 31 changes/rollback[edit]

I reverted the recent changes for these reasons:

  1. The claim of fact which was removed has not been satisfied.
  2. If a Dragonscale is "worth" money, then can it then be redeemed for cash, like Second Life's Lindens? If the exchange is not reciprocal, then "costs" would be the more appropriate word.

Don't you think the link to Uncyclopedia has nothing to do with this article? Gato Gris 18:37, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

It's clearly talking about the same topic. It's just making complete nonsense of it, as Uncyclopedia is wont to do. --GreenReaper(talk) 19:28, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Furcadia Wikia[edit]

Since this one is rather inactive, a few people have started working on a furcadia wiki here. I'm not sure whether you guys want to remove the link to the old one, but please add the new link and stress that the wikia one is more active. 70.225.37.94 23:36, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Furre! online Furcadian fan magazine?[edit]

Furre! article includes "Furre! is also the title of an online Furcadian fan magazine". I don't play Furcadia so I'm hoping someone else at WikiFur knows more about this Furre! e-zine and can start an article about it. --EarthFurst 23:16, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Minor edits, pending read-through[edit]

I've done some minor edits to certain portions of the page, however I will make a full read through and confirm all information is current. I've removed some dead links but will test the remainder. Kinda late to do at the moment. Will update when done. -- Kamata 18:36, 2 February 2014 (EST) (EDIT) Done a full read through, however there may be elements I have missed. There was little else edited on this run through other than adding small details (Such as the new DSConstuctor) and removing a bad link. With all the new updates I will be sure to edit where necessary when I can. 05:47, 3 February 2014 (EST)

Furcadia was not the first MMO to reach 10 years running.[edit]

The Realm Online beats Furcadia to the tenth anniversary milestone (see: http://realm.holtgard.com/realm_history.html), so I've edited the history timeline.

I disagree. Furcadia was released several days before The Realm, and so does meet that milestone. However, I haven't reversed the edit as the term 'MMO Game' is disputed and I am unaware if another game may have beaten them both. The rewording therefore is possibly better as it is.
