Talk:Foxes (IRC)

This is a broader point but something I (not an IRC user) have been wondering: is not the name of the channel foxes, with the # simply a signifier that it is an IRC channel? -- Sine 18:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, for the pages that specifically include "(IRC)" in the title (ex: Chakats (IRC), Furry (IRC), UK (IRC) ), and some that don't include "(IRC)" (ex: Pantherchat, Ozfurs), they have that notice saying that the article name is #channelname. However, some other articles, such as Radiofurs (Anthrochat), Deaddog!, TeenageFurs, etc... do not have that notice. Then again, the title might specifically start with a lower case, so the tag about a different title may be appropriate, but I don't know of any specific cases because I'm not as big on IRC channels as I used to be.
That being said, considering the majority have the notice, I would say continue the trend for the rest.-- TBG 20:13, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
