I am not sure that WikiFur is the proper place to post the entire bracket and results; this can just as easily be accomplished with a link to the LiveJournal community. WikiFur is neither a webspace provider nor is it intended to be a collection of links, as is proposed in this LiveJournal entry.

Also, what basis are voters using to cast their ballots? Performance? Construction? Popularity? Finally, there also needs to be a controversy section, since this has indeed stirred up a good bit of controversy.----DuncanDaHusky^(talk) 14:01, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't really have a problem with it. It's not like they're conducting it here; we're just reporting on it. As for links, they could be done as internal wikilinks, and therefore okay. As for methods and controversy, that can be covered, as long as it's neutral and referenced. --Rat 20:55, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Eh. It's a contest. You are always going to get people complaining that people shouldn't be measured on popularity/suit cleanliness/length of tail, whatever. As for the hosting, one page doesn't seem entirely excessive, given that it's not just a personal endeavor but involves other people. I'd honestly like to have lists of all the top-five nominees to the Ursa Major Awards as well, although that might be best covered on separate pages for each year. It does say "withdrawn" for suits that have withdrawn. "bye" means they never had an opponent planned in the first place. --Rat 20:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't make much of a difference really, but the term "bye" is almost synonymous throughout sports and tournament settings for situations such as these where a team/individual progresses to the next round without playing a game.
