Since I know a thing or two about Chipmunks, it looks like I found my first major contribution to Wikifur. Making this stub into a full blown article will be my pet project for awhile.

A tie-up to furry fandom is a must. Pop-Culture is considered more mainstream. Rule of thumb: If it can be covered by Wikipedia, don't use it/cover it, unless really necessary for the article - Spirou 02:09, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Good point. My goal is to give a decent backgound and run down on chipmunks, more so than just a few lines. That being the sections I've added/edited so far and then wrapping things up with a "behavior" section describing the natural behavior of chipmunks. Then to tie chipmunks into the furry fandom I will expend the "In popular culture" section and see if I can find some more tidbits chipmunk furries. I'm also planning to insert some mentions of Native American Folklore about how the chipmunk got its strips as well as Kona the Chipmunk Kachina from the Hopi.

Now the sections describing the chipmunk as a species are laid down. I will be tweaking these latter. The next part I need to work on is how chipmunks relates to furries as required by Wikifur. This will be done by going into Native American Lore about chipmunks. I will be focusing on Kona a Hopi Runner Kachina representing the chipmunk and another native american tail of how chipmunks got their stripes. After this I wil see if I can expand the "In Popular Culture" section a bit.

Zuel don't worry too much about the "In Popular Culture" section I'm going to give it a total revamp when I get to it.
