The 'should be fully artificial, should be lifelike enough' etc wording is a little unclear; is Lurdanjo just describing his character preferences, or is a more objective judgement implied (e.g. a desire to narrow the usage of the term to these specifics)? -- Starglider

Okay, so this has the "maybe this should be multiple articles" template - what would those multiple articles be?
Anthroid[edit]
If you go by root words, it sounds like a better term for a humanoid robot than android (which refers to 'male' robots, while gynoid refers to 'female' ones). The thing is that "anthro" is a synonym with "human-like".
