Seel, full Seelmaru (シールマル Shīrumaru), also known as Seel Kaiser and ground-lion (born October 16), they are an American-Japanese furry artist, animator and YouTuber who lives in Japan.

Biography[edit]

Seel was originally born on the East Coast of the United States, but later emigrated to Tokyo, Japan. Seel's favorite animals are insects.

Seel normally produces and uploads animation memes, speed paints, sometimes MikuMikuDance (MMD) animations, and, but rarely, vlogs and MAP[clarify] parts. They create animation and art on Youtube.

They use Firealalpaca for animation and PaintToolSai for general artwork. Seel usually edits their art/animation in Adobe Premiere.

They are the creator of the furry webcomic Seelpeel.

History[edit]

  • On October 6, 2006, Seel had created their channel, where they uploaded a few recorded videos of Japan, namely Kemocon performances, among others.
  • On April 3, 2017, Seel had uploaded their very first animation meme, the Cola Song meme, which became a massive success, reaching over a million views.
  • On Jun 17, 2017, Seel uploaded a meme animation on their channel titled Bikini Body, which it grew to 3,000,000 views within 3 years.
  • On October 4, 2017, Seel had uploaded their first MikuMikuDance animation.
