Scalesona

A Scalesona is a furry term for a person's alter ego or self-representation as a scaled character (reptile, dragon, fish, etc.)

The term is used in addition to fursona by Furs-Scales-Feathers, a deviantART club founded in July 2005.[1] An online search in August 2008 shows the term mostly used on deviantART, with mentions on Fur Affinity and Furry Art Pile.[2]
