Salun Tobias

Salun Tobias is a furry who lives in Gardner, Massachusetts, U.S.A.[1] His fursona is an anthropomorphic Blue Jay.
History[edit]
Salun first appeared in the furry world in 2003, on Furcadia. Over the years following he changed forms from equine to dragon to others.
In August, 2007, Salun Tobias first appeared on Second Life. Starting off as an eagle, it did not take long before he purchased a small blue jay avatar, directing him into his current form.
Despite many assuming that the name Tobias is a direct reference to the red-tailed hawk character in Katherine Applegate's Animorphs books, Salun is quoted as saying "Its just what was available on Second Life. It's just a coincidence that myself and Tobias from the books are avians".[citation needed]
