Post-Self is a science fiction setting surrounding uploaded consciousnesses and the technological and sociopolitical ramifications of the origins of the three systems in which the uploaded minds live.[1]

Overview[edit]

Post-Self is a metafurry setting, meaning that, while it does feature anthropomorphic animals, they are humans who are members of the furry subculture living their lives as their fursonas. As an open setting, all canon details are freely available on the homepage for authors and artists to expand the works based on the setting, with the organization taking place on a Discord server.

The setting began with the Post-Self Cycle, four novels and two novellas by writer Madison Scott-Clary.[2] This was then expanded with Clade - A Post-Self Anthology with stories by ten different authors, an anthology funded by the Kickstarter for Mitzvot, book four in the Post-Self Cycle.

More short stories and works of flash fiction by various authors have been posted on the Post-Self's cohost page.[3]
