Penny

The penny is a common unit of currency used on many MUCKs. The ability to change the name of this currency is generally the provenance of wizards using the @tune function (the variable itself is called penny, and variations thereof).

On FurryMUCK, the Mayor was also able to perform this function, first by page #mailing a wizard, and later by using their key of office. Toast was probably best-known for his regular use of the key, although it was developed during AJWolf's tenure.
