NordicFuzzCon 2020
NordicFuzzCon 2020 (NFC 2020) was the eighth iteration of the NordicFuzzCon convention, held over 19-23 February 2020, at the Clarion Hotel & Congress Live in Malmö, Sweden [1], with 1539 total registered attendees, of which 1499 were present at the convention. The theme was "Love it or hate it, it's Furovision".[2]
New for this year was the ability to use debit and credit cards to donate money to the convention charity, Katthjälpen i Malmö. 126 206,21 SEK was raised in total for charity[3].
One person blipped 12,495 times, beating the previous record of 10,535 blips; the people with the 2nd and 3rd most blips had done so 6012 and 5555 times respectively. The Catch-em-all game winner had caught a total of 379 fursuits with the respective runner-ups catching 377 and 372 fursuits. The top achievement hunter had unlocked 53 total achievements, the 2nd and 3rd place unlocked 48 and 45 achievements respectively. The "Pointless button" was also pressed a total of 41,701 times.
