Nois Ohm Skunk
Nois-Ohm Skunk (pronounced Noise-Uhm-Skunk), also known as Skunk Surfeit, is a furry musician who lives in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He chose the name "Nois-Ohm" as a play on the words "Noisome" (means extremely unpleasant odor), "Noise" (for the industrial nature of the music), and "Ohm" (unit of electrical resistance, common with speakers).
Fursona[edit]
Nois-Ohm's fursona is a monochromed striped skunk with a lion's mane as hair, also sporting a matching skunk stripe.
Nois-Ohm spent a few years figuring out the right fursona that would fit him and represent himself without feeling to hide anything. He wanted a skunk that matched his musical and more innocent side, while also accepting his fetish and NSFW side.
Nois-Ohm wants to use his skunk to promote fetish positivity, skunk positivity, and self-acceptance. Nois-Ohm sports the Pansexual flag with the Rubber flag behind him, showcasing sexuality awareness and fetish acceptance.
Music[edit]
Playing under the handle Skunk Surfeit, Nois-Ohm's music contains elements of Alternative Rock, Nu-Metal, and Industrial music, sometimes refered as "Skunk Punk" or "Nu-Industrial". Skunk Surfeit's music helps showcase these ideals in addition to political themes and fictional stories.
As of July 2021, Skunk Surfeit has joined FuzzNet World under their Music label, releasing his first single with the label on July 30th, 2021. On September 3rd, 2021, Skunk Surfeit released their debut album. It was released under Fuzznet Music. "Noisome" debuted a heavier sound that was teased in the "Year of the Skunk" EP, with harsher vocals and heavier industrial influences. Skunk Surfeit started working on the next EP shortly before the release of "Noisome" while also aiming to again get heavier.
