Midwest FurFest 2023

Midwest FurFest 2023 was the twenty-fourth iteration of the Midwest FurFest furry convention. It was held Nov 30-Dec 3, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, USA.

Theme[edit]
The theme was Snow Days! A fun filled weekend of sledding, ice skating, and snow ball fights.
Midwest FurFest 2023 had an unprecedented attendance of 15,547 people[1], and helped raise $185,758 for Live Like Roo.[2]

- At peak, registration processed 1700 attendees per hour (+700 per hour over last year)
- Over 1000 people visited the quiet rooms
- 17 panels had ASL Interpreting provided
- 715 Volunteer hours across 110 volunteers
- 115 Artists in Art Show

- Issac won the Motion Controller Sonic Challenge with a time of 25 seconds. Playing with the motion controller which is technology a sensor ring to have to control with your arms and legs. The challenge was to complete the first stage of Sonic The Hedgehog without getting hit.
