The Master and Margarita (Мастер и Маргарита) is a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, woven about the premise of a visit by the Devil to the fervently atheistic Soviet Union.

While a superb book in itself, lauded by many critics and readers[citation needed], it also does contain an aspect of interest to furries, in the form of a giant, anthropomorphic black cat, who behaves exactly like a human would, and is the incarnation of the infernal demon Behemoth.
