Lightfoot Kyohti (born March 22nd, 1985) is a furry artist who lived most of her life in Southeastern Oklahoma. She's been drawing 'furry art' since the age of five and was considered a great talent in her local area, participating in many local, regional and state-wide art contests throughout her school years. It is believed her art is done in her spare time as she is known to be attending college for a veterinary technology degree as of 2011.

She relocated on several occasions to various areas of Northeastern Indiana and is residing in the state of Ohio as of late 2010.

Fandom involvement[edit]

Kyohti was involved in Oklacon, being Guest of Honor and Camp Cook in both 2005 and 2006. She has also participated in Oklacon's Iron Artist contest and made art contributions to their charity and artist auctions.

Fursonas[edit]

Kyohti has two fursonas:

  • An anthropomorphic red wolf/coyote hybrid (her usual character, Lightfoot Kyohti) whom she considers to be her regular inner voice and totemic, spiritual other half. This identity is portrayed semi-realistic and digitigrade with three silver hoops in each ear and one ear tip folded over.
  • A snow leopard/falcon/gryphon hybrid named Saedrie de'Solari which she considers more of a totem-guardian and muse. This entity is portrayed as feral or digitigrade anthro with long ear tufts and the same silver hoops in each ear, though there is no ear fold portrayed artistically in this form.

Art[edit]

Lightfoot Kyohti's art style is described as traditional and ranges from toony to semi-realistic. Her mediums usually include art marker, pencil and acrylic. Commissioned works from her range from con badges to portraits and wildlife-inspired art of various themes. While some adult-themed art has been produced by this artist, it is considered very rare for her to create mature commissions.[citation needed]

Lightfoot Kyohti has released no new artwork since before 2010.[citation needed]
