Kythra

Kythra (real name Walter Loy;[1] born November 19, 1957, died April 2, 2023),[2] was a furry writer (specializing in fantasy and science fiction literature), and MILFur who lived in Slatington, Pennsylvania, USA.

Biography[edit]

Kythra, full name Walter E. Loy, III, was the son of Walter E. Loy, Jr. and Janet Swartz Loy, and attended Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts where he graduated with degrees in Geology and Physics.

After attending postgraduate school at MIT, Walt was commissioned in the United States Navy and taught nuclear physics at the Naval Nuclear Power School in Orlando, Florida (now at Goose Creek, South Carolina).

He spent most of his professional career teaching high school science in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia and he found joy in tutoring both mathematics and science. Walt spent his last years working locally for Allied Universal.

Death[edit]

Kythra passed away on April 2, 2023, at his home in Slatington.[3]

As a writer, Kythra was a member of both the Fur Writers and History Furs on Fur Affinity.
