Kitch's name references both Kitchkinet, a guide character in the ceremonies of the Boy Scouts of America honor society, the Order of the Arrow, and the Yiddish kitsch, meaning delightfully tacky or quirky yet commonplace. Kitch tends to live up to both of these descriptors.
