Help talk:Example person article

I'm inclined to not use sections or subheadings in the example, since I think articles created with lots of subheadings and short contents need more fiddling with than long articles initially without subheadings, and I think most person articles tend to be fairly short. -- Sine 07:34, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Although, could we present on the template (notes section?) a link of an existing person's article with sections and subheadings as an example of proper use insertion on their own ones?. A bared template would, I think, put us right back were we started without the template Spirou 08:00, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I think perhaps if we pointed to examples of good articles about people at all sizes (perhaps using history links so that it didn't change) then people might be able to take something from that. --GreenReaper^(talk) 08:58, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Direct links from the "Furry Book of Style's" "Articles about people" Section, instead of an user template?:

"Animators (example): Chris Sanders" or "Animators: see Chris Sanders"

Something like that. There's no reason we couldn't have both, of course - a basic template and then links showing expanded examples. You could have the template be added to the edit box automatically with a form that lets the user input a page name - see Template:Start a news article (which uses the inputbox element) and Template:New news page. --GreenReaper^(talk) 03:42, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
