Greener Pastures
Greener Pastures is an Australian comic series. Set in Australia (it opens in Cucumgilliga, New South Wales),[1] it tells the story of "naive, loveable stud bull" Trevor Bovis,[2] who "gets sick of being on the land, stands up on his hind legs, and goes to university".[1]
The comic, whilst humourous, also explores issues about the plight of farmers, the environment, and animal liberation.[1]

Greener Pastures was co-created by Tim McEwan and Michael Michalandos in 1990.[3] It was first printed in Tharunka, the student newspaper of the University of New South Wales,[4] and published by Kronos Komics from February, 1994.[5]
The comic has twice featured on the television program Good Morning Australia. The first time was in July, 1993, when pages were briefly flashed up on screen during a story on the Unrealism exhibition of Australian comic art.[6] The second time was in February, 1995, when host Bert Newton talked about Australian comics with Australian Comicbook Exhibition curator Annette Shiel.[1]
