Furpocalypse 2022
Furpocalypse 2022 ("Horror in Paradise") took place over October 27-30, 2022,[1] at the Armon Hotel & Conference Center in Stamford, Connecticut.
The Guests of Honor were Cyamallo and Deadly Comics. There were 1,627 attendees, including 402 fursuiters in the parade.[2] $10,510.00 was raised for the LGBT youth organization Q+.[3]
Incidents[edit]
On Saturday, October 29, at 11:04PM, a third-story hotel room window was broken above the entryway for the main ballroom.[4] For the remainder of the evening into early Sunday, a large area in this thoroughfare was cordoned off with yellow caution tape. A scissor-lift secured the remains of the window later that morning.
On Sunday, two fragments of the window glass were auctioned for the convention charity. $569 was raised.
