FurCon UK was a proposed convention for furries in England.

History[edit]

The convention was originally planned for 2003, to be held in the Liverpool region under the name of BritFur,[1] but on 3 August 2004 it was announced that the name would be changed to FurCon UK.[2] Apparently, no FurCon UK conventions have yet been held and the www.furcon.co.uk website has since been abandoned.

In late 2004 to January 2005, Tippus Tailus started to use the name of BritFur for what was considered a parody or hoax.[citation needed]
