Forum:Publications by year
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Any objections to Category:Publications by year and subcategories, in line with Category:Births by year, Category:Events by year, and so on? I keep seeing articles on media coverage going into an event by year category, which I really don't see as appropriate.
I think Category:2007 first publications and so on, because I do not perceive years of reprinting as useful categories, and just 2007 publications could be taken as publications that exist in a particular year, such as a magazine that was printed between, say, 1999 and 2009.

- I like the idea, though the proposed category seems a bit awkward - Category:2007 publications is a bit cleaner. Would it be sufficient to state on the Category page that the year refers to the first year of publication? ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 00:14, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps "2007 releases", so that things like movies could be included? ("publications" seems to exclude this) --GreenReaper(talk) 00:41, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- I thought we poopooed that idea?--Kendricks Redtail 00:52, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
