Forum:New furry(ish)!
Hi all, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a furry in England - not new so much, I've been a furry for, oh... 10 years at least maybe? I'm 25 now. You could say I've been furry all my life, I do remember being obsessed with anthro cartoons as long as I can remember. Just never found any decent online communities in that time, and it's been a couple of years since I've had the time to really sit down and look!
I've made two fursuits - really, really bad ones but made in kind of a hurry! One werewolf for a Halloween wedding reception, and a dog in a straightjacket for a birthday party (had to go as a London tube station, naturally I chose "Barking"!). Not got the head anymore though.
I've got my next one in my head, but it's a bit complex so won't be made for a while yet! Not gone to any cons, not for lack of wanting to though - more from lack of money and someone to go with. But I have a goth friend who I could persuade, so long as I assure her she won't have to don a fursuit - she's definitely not a furry!! But I know she'd have a great time anyhoo.

- Hello, Niki, and welcome to WikiFur! :-) I hope you manage to get into ConFuzzled and/or Red Blue & White at some point, you should have a lot of fun even if you don't have someone to go with (they're great for making new friends). Perhaps you could find some good online furry communities in our community section - there are many forums and multiplayer worlds out there. There's also a lot in Category:United Kingdom and subcategories if you're looking for stuff closer to home in real life. --GreenReaper(talk) 19:32, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
