Folkmanis is a leading producer of plush puppets, and is the most popular and recognized commercial brand of puppet used by furry fans. Many of the puppets featured on the Funday Pawpet Show are Folkmanis puppets. It was founded in 1976.

Folkmanis, Inc. is a family business owned and operated by Judy and Atis Folkmanis, based in Emeryville, California.
