Fables of the Green Forest (山ねずみロッキーチャック Yama Nezumi Rokkī Chakku, lit. "Rocky Chuck, the Mountain Rat) is a 52 episode anime series adapted from the series of books published during the 1910s and 1920s by Thornton W. Burgess. The series ran on Japanese television in 1973 before being imported to Canada in 1978.
