#eurofurs is a channel on the Anthrochat IRC network. It was founded by Rua Whitepaw and is jointly managed by her and Trugia. It is a place for furries in Europe to come together and chat, but in principle anyone is welcome if they have an interest in Europe and its furry community. Several regulars live outside Europe, such as in Israel, or have lived in Europe in the past.
The channel has a larger and more active counterpart on FurNet with the same name, but was created independently. To prevent bot spam, the channel is normally moderated for unregistered users, so that only registered users or those with "voice" (+v) are able to talk.
