Drawing Under the Influences centers around the actions of Kesh, a girl who happens to see the ‘voices’ that one usually associates with their shoulders. In the story the voices are called ‘Influences’, and appear to have quite an impact on the girl’s life. Her interactions with her influences lend lots of comedy to the story, which is still deep enough to keep a reader interested.
